Long Term Missionary Positions

Doctors

As our clinic expands, we are in need of additional doctors to help. We also are interested in doing more community outreaches which requires a doctor present. Doctors would see routine patients that come to our clinic Monday-Friday as well as emergencies that arrive in the evening and weekends. They would work with local Sudanese staff as well as trained staff from Kenya. Conducting training sessions to increase their knowledge and abilities in the clinic is important. Doctors can come short term to give our current staff a break or join our team long term.

Nurses

Having trained nurses in our clinic is very important. Their primary role is to assist the doctors in treating and managing patients. Nurses would also work in wound care, immunization and assist with deliveries as needed by the midwife. Nurses also assist the doctors in overseeing and training the local Sudanese staff. Nurses are on call 24-7 as our clinic is always open for emergencies. Nurses can come short term or join our team long term.

Construction / Plumbing / Electrician

Our clinic, school and compound are ever growing. We are in need of anyone skilled in construction, plumbing and electrics to help complete our new clinic as well as build new projects and upgrade current buildings. This person would need to have leadership skills as they would be training and supervising local Sudanese staff. Short term and long term help is needed.

Logistician in Nairobi

We are looking for a missionary to join our team as a full time logistician working from our Nairobi base to provide much needed support to Sabet and Suzy. The logistician will be responsible one employee and for managing flights and supplies for the ministry in Sudan. Including booking flights, buying construction, food and medical supplies, sending trucks of supplies to Sudan and facilitating teams when they arrive in Nairobi. This person must be extremely organized, proactive, detail oriented and a self starter. Patience, flexibility, determination and consistent follow up are required for this position.

Stateside Fundraiser

A vital part of our ministry is fundraising. With Sabet and Suzy full-time in Sudan, they are in need of someone in USA (preferably) Southern California to help in this area. This person would represent Sabet and Suzy at mission events in Southern California as well as plan, organize and run the annual prayer walk. This person needs to be confident, a self starter and passionate about the work God is doing through In Deed and Truth Ministries.
